There is this place that has great art and it is all about a good time. It started in Mandeville Louisiana and is now in Slidell, Hammond and Lake Charles. The catch is that you can’t just walk in and buy the art, you have to actually participate in recreating it but don’t worry the artist will assist you in this process. What is even more exciting is that you can bring in your own adult beverage because the artist keeps it relaxed and fun like a party. It is even better with friends. You can bring in a best friend with you, or you could bring in your own private party. They play music and it lasts from around two to three hours an event. Once you are finished you will be amazed with what you have done. You have recreated a masterpiece with your own touch. You will be going home with not just great art but a great experience!

Back in its heyday of the 50′s and 60′s Hammond was a booming college town and during the past ten years it has had the reputation of being a sleeper. This is definitely changing because the town is coming alive again. With all of the new shops and restaurants in the downtown area Hammond is now a little gem. The reason Hammond Louisiana is growing more colorful again is because of all the Art that exists in the town today. They have galleries full of local artwork all over the city. The latest improvement to Hammond has been Painting with a Twist. Painting with a Twist has now become a hub for new artists. It is a place for anyone who wants to become or develop into a local artist. It is for all skill levels you either want to relax and have a good time painting or who want to practice their skills.

All the classes use acrylic paint on canvas. Everything is provided for you to take the class. All you need to do is show up and bring your favorite adult beverage if you please.
